Huntonia Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Sorry to say, this one looks like a definite case of pareidolia to me . It has no characteristics of a fossil. The texture is wrong, the shape is not consistent with a snake's head and soft tissue very rarely fossilizes. The colors are likely mineral stains of some kind and the shape is a result of weathering. 3
Fossildude19 Posted January 24, 2020 Posted January 24, 2020 Definitely not a fossil. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
