Lower Brazos - Tx

Is this from a Bison? It seems semi-mineralized. But from the depth in a washout that i found it in makes me really really curious. There is noticable waves in the bone structure

Can you post a photo of the side with the divet/impression? That could be the socket of a joint. Also indications of local geologic setting (Pleistocene, Cretaceous) would be helpful as well. 

 

The waves in the bone structure, as seen in the first image, seem to be areas of muscle/connective tissue attachment.
