Your Isotelus story brings back memories for me. Our Maquoketa/ Ordovician sounds very similar to the formation providing you the Isotelus fossils. I had found a whole Isotelus a few years ago but didn't realize until I returned home, part had split off. The eye was left back where I found it. All week I worried whether a return trip would be successful at producing the missing eye. After some searching, I did find and attach it to the rightful owner!!! Gazillions of partials are found  in the Maquoketa but only a rare full trilobite. I hope your success is better than mine at finding more complete ones.
