Ludwigia
I chose this Involuticeras involutus from the German Early Kimmeridgian for my next fossil project because of these great suture lines (we call them Lobenlinien in Germany) and spent a lot of time trying to get them right. It's not quite a perfect reproduction, but I think I managed it ok with the help of a bit of artistic licence. 1 9 Greetings from the Lake of Constance. FossilNerd
Not a bad reproduction, Roger. I imagine those suture lines took quite a while to do. Tidgy's Dad
I like fledermaus and bustenhalter. Lovely drawing, Roger, apart from not having the talent, I also wouldn't have the patience. 1 Life's Good! Tortoise Friend.
