Sorry I have not been around much but i got the winter bug and it really knocked me around for a few weeks.

My birthday today and Mrs got me these large plates of a different bug, pretty impressive i think.

My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.

Happy birthday.

These seem like much nicer kind of bugs. There is so many they could have party of their own.

Happy Natalis, Bobby! There's always something magical about a multi-plate, and I hope the rest of your birthday is equally magical.

What, no socks?

Those plates are great! I always like getting both sides (positive and negative) like you have there.  I didn't know that species occurred in such aggregations.  It's amazing how much they look like the Canadian Pseudogygites.  It would be cool to have a display of the two side by side.

Hope you winter bug is gone soon.
