found these two fossils off the coast of sc PLEASE HELP ID

I found these off of charleston SC. i have a fossil book that is pretty extensive however i am completely unable to identify these two fossils, any help with an ID would be appreciated

Pretty confident that the first piece is a weathered vetebra centrum.

 

The second may be as well, but I'm less confident on it.

Now that the pictures are brighter, the second item does look like a centrum to me as well.
