Hello.  New to the forum.  Retired geologist (environmental) and ready to get back in to one of my passions, fossil collecting.  As a young buck, I did  lot of collecting in NE PA around the anthracite open pits.  Late 70's went to USU and hiked a lot of locals in Wyoming and Utah.

Anyway, just wanted to say hello.

My favorite things about fossil hunting: getting out of my own head, getting into nature and, if I’m lucky, finding some cool souvenirs.

Welcome from NWCS of Illinois.

Mark.

Fossil hunting is easy -- they don't run away when you shoot at them!
