Carboniferous/Mississippian Period Fossils

Since spring began, dodging rain and trying to get out between it, I've been doing a lot of fossil hunting. One of my new hunting buddies introduced me to a site that was an exposure on the side of a mountain. You had to get on your knees, crawl around and couldn't believe the fossilized Brachiopod steinkerns at my fingertips! They were on every square inch of ground! I found second rolled Trilobite ever, Trilobutt, Cruziana Trace Fossil, Horn Coral, Blastoids, Archimedes,  Crinoid stems, piece of Cephlapod and other marine fossils! Can't wait to get back there soon.
