I see a huge bone that has been opalized. Convince me if I am incorrect and please help me identify what I might have here. May have been Found in Eastern Oregon near the Powder River.

Sorry, not seeing a bone here at all. It's lacking the overall shape of a bone as well as the smaller, textural details. Can you provide some very sharp close-ups of various surfaces? And why do you say "opalized?"

When you say it may have been found in eastern Oregon that also means it may not have been found in eastern Oregon.  Is the Oregon part itself 100% accurate though?

Thanks.

I'd still like a closer look at the texture though. Just to see what it looks like.

It does not have the shape of any bone I recognize. The pattern in the swirly thicker and thin areas do not resemble trabeculation patterns I would expect.  My first thought is not bone. Does it fizz in dilute HCl.

The end view looks a lot like an agatized limb cast.

Agate or opal replacement of wood. Could be a cast .

Need some good close up shots to tell which.

Sure, if I can't have bone I'll gladly take wood. :)

Then what could possibly be this big? It is at least 12+ inches long...I will measure it and let you know exactly.

A lot of mammals are big enough. I trust the folks who say it's not bone though.

That is the inside of the middle of the structure. It broke in half while I was packing it down the hill. I am not sure what exactly it is, agate, opal, jasper???? But I also found what to me looks like opalized petrified wood, and a lot of it! Beautiful! I also have something that resembles a very large snake head and also something that looks like possibly a fish head. I do not really know, I wish I was more educated about minerals and geological formations. I can not  provide pictures that reflect what I see in person. I just know these things are not just normal formations, they are definitely something out of the ordinary. Especially considering that they are so different from every other Material around them.

I also agree with not bone but that doesn’t make it any less unique.  Bone would have a different internal structure. In the end, as long as you appreciate and enjoy it for what it is that’s all that matters.
