New Members Clarki Posted July 22 New Members Posted July 22 For the past couple of summers, this forum has been super helpful in ID'ing for me fossils that I come across while walking Rocky Mountain streams fishing for cutthroat trout. And I have another! This was found in the East Kootenay region of British Columbia; in a different drainage than, by relatively close to, the Tanglefoot Creek trilobite field. Knowing that the Tanglefoot field was in the relative vicinity I was keeping my eyes peeled for fossils as we walked along the river. Super pleased to stumbled across this on the river floodplain. The novice that I am is pretty sure it's a trilobite as well, but is I don't know what type/species. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! The fossil curves around the rock. Overall length is 5". Width is 1.25" The first two pics show both sides of the rock IMG_1892.HEICIMG_1893.HEIC The pic is taken looking straight down at the head IMG_1894.HEIC This pic is taken looking down the length IMG_1895.HEIC
Kane Posted July 22 Posted July 22 You will need to upload your photos in JPG format as the forum cannot process HEIC files. ...How to Philosophize with a Hammer

I must be a full time job patrolling us newbies Since I couldn't find a "Edit Post" function, I've attached below The fossil curves around the rock. Overall length is 5". Click on the three horizontal dots; you should see an option to edit. My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned. I think you need to reach a certain amount of posts before you can edit. Maybe @Fossildude19 can confirm that. Greetings from the Lake of Constance. Roger http://www.steinkern.de/
