Andreik
I found these corals in Lower Oligocene deposits from Romania. Does anyone know what family or genus they are?
Rockwood
I think these are actually bryozoans.

Andreik
@Rockwood There is no problem. I have these corals from the same location and same deposits. They are different though.
oyo
Macro photographs of the corallites and probably a polished section of some of them would be necessary. The first could be Stylophora. The latter perhaps Cladocora.

If these were coral I would expect to see septas in what appears to be holes. Took some pictures with a microscope (however, not a high-performance one) to see some more details. I think these might be some Hornera sp.
Rockwood
Yes. I still think bryozoan.
oyo
I expected to see septa but, indeed, they are not there. In the other specimen you presented they were very clear.
Andreik
@oyo Yes, in the other picture the coral structure is evident.
