New Members TheDesertJerboa Posted August 6 New Members Share Posted August 6 Hello, This specimen was found in the Hrajel/Chabrouh area in Kesrouane District, Lebanon. From this article, it seems likely that the specimen is afragment of a Cheloniceras ammonite: (https://www.researchgate.net/publication/267927033_Revision_of_Falaise_de_BLANCHE_Lower_Cretaceous_in_Lebanon_with_the_definition_of_a_Jezzinian_Regional_Stage). Is that correct? Or am I barking up the wrong tree? Thanks! Z!
rocket
when you took it from the described stratigraphic position, I would say, yes. Looks like Cheloniceras-structure. But, we only have a part. My vote is: yes, I would assume you could be right
