Went up to New Jersey a few months ago and it was pretty good! Over all, we have great weather and it wasn’t too hot or cold. We explored the stream for the day with hopes of a nice find. We found over 100 shark teeth (most broken), a lot of ghost shrimp burrows, a baculites, my first Cretaceous ammonite pieces, various fish teeth, verts., bone fragments, shell impressions, ray teeth and so much more!  There’s still some I’m stumped on but here’s some of my finds! I hope you enjoy!!!

The trip was fantastic guys and the Squalis are so pretty from this site! @Atoothsatooth42 you should head up there and check out Big Brook as well. It’s the same age and covers the same stuff but it has more belemnites, gastropods, bivalves and I’ve even pulled urchin spines out of there.

You must be using a very fine screen to collect those tiny shell crushing fish teeth. Congrats on some excellent finds.

  • 3 weeks later...

Some clarifications:

SP7 is probably Pseudohypolophus mcnultyi and Rhombodus laevis

SP8: The complete one (at least) is Cretasquatina americana
