Hi, I am in Madagascar right now and found this supposed dinosaur skull owned by a local shop owner. The guy said his grandpa came across it in 1970. What do you guys think? The teeth seem suspect, but I'm no expert.

Grandad’s science project? The teeth look like belemnites to me. Not sure what the bone like material is?

Doesn't look real, which is fine as the export of fossils is against Madagascan law.

Seriously, you shouldn't even have to ask.  That has to be one of the most obvious fakes I have seen.  It doesn't even qualify as bad art.

Its a carved fabrication, not a real skull, just for decoration purpose.

more weird folk art than fossil. i kinda like it.

 

Braincase/eye sockets kind of look like a partial deer skull.
