Possibly new species of oligocene fish?

Good morning. In the menilite shales I found a fish specimen unlike any other I have ever seen. Looks like scopthalmus, but is much longer. Size 1 - 2 centimeters.IMG_20240909_204150.thumb.jpg.ede17ac77069a5c38f78ad214fbb5be4.jpg

Sorry, but with a fragmentary head, no recognizable position of the fins, and an unknown number of fin rays, the fish cannot be identified,

Sorry to disappoint you. Maybe a paleoichthyologist would be able to do that, but he would have to examine the fossil directly. This is hardly possible from pictures alone.

In any case, that's beyond my knowledge - I am just an amateur.
