RetiredLawyer
I just found a new separate track layer on top of my original track layer, as I dug further into the hillside. It has a bunch of the loose feet at the leading edge but the rock layer gets more solid as it heads into the hill. These are more Chirotherium rex tracks, 240 mya, Middle Triassic, Moenkopi Formation. The one with my finger- it’s like my momma used to say about me - “something just aint right”. Those toes are not aligned properly and the lengths aren’t right for a chirothere so hopefully there’s a matching complete one in there. I can probably clear an acre with some hard but manageable digging to see how extensive these layers are and if there’s any other layers above. Below seems to just be a layer of silt stone with nothing to offer. 3
