Rocksinsk
So, I found this thing in the wall of a gravel ridge. I live in SK Canada. The lines and the dark area is slightly raised from the rock itself, not sure if it’s due to weird weathering or something else.

Maybe some kind of ground mineral staining or something. 🤷🏻♀️ thank you for the help ✌🏼🙂
TqB
There's some fine, regular lamination going on in the pale patch on the left which looks fossil - maybe stromatoporoid? Most of it looks geological but those dark structures are enigmatic - possibly beekite?? Edited October 10 by TqB 1 Tarquin
Rockwood
I think this is an odd sectioning of overlapping layered concretion.
DPS Ammonite
I wonder if this a jasper. See Bruneau Jasper and Morrisonite that both have a similar pattern. https://www.rockngem.com/bruneau-pattern-jasper-multi-state-discoveries/#:~:text=The Bruneau jasper pattern is,curved line that it crosses. 2 My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.
