I just found this while in the Appalachian mountains in south West Virginia, Bland county, I’ve done a little research but I can’t say for sure about anything so figured I would ask people who actually had knowledge on this. When I blow up the image I can see a lot of different little fish. The detail is amazing, I can feel/see the back bones etc. I was told it was at one time a warm glacial lake. I don’t know the age or any other info I would love to though. Thanks to anyone who will help!

Welcome to the Forum. :)

Unfortunately, I am not seeing any fish fossils here.

I see what may be a bit of plant fossil, but the pictures are inconclusive, in my opinion.
