Hi All,
I found this piece of bone in New Jersey over the weekend in Shark River. Site is lower Eocene (Shark River Fm.) and upper Miocene (Kirkwood Fm.).

 

I originally thought this was a bulla, however it was suggested squamosal. I trust the ID, however wanted to hear some additional feedback.

Looks like a very worn bulla.
