Ordered it today. Sold as a Plesiosaur, but I don't think it is as its quite straight and stubby. Am I right in thinking this is actually a crocodile tooth of some type?

Conical shape looks like crocodile.

I've seen this one too. Looks rather rolled, and like it has enamel folds at regular intervals that don't reach all the way to the tooth apex, so I'd say it's a platypterygiine ichthyosaur tooth...
