Hi. Wondering if my new Meg tooth has any resto or repairs?  Seller said no, but I’m a novice and I’m not sure. Thanks!

I’m quite a novice. What might resto look like?  To me this looks very black and “enameled,” as if someone plastered black putty on the root. But I really don’t know what Meg teeth should/shouldn’t look like.

Here is a great article, and there is much more info out there on the web : https://fossildriven.com/blogs/how-to-spot-repaired-restored-megalodon-teeth/how-to-spot-repaired-restored-megalodon-teeth
