Seven9 Posted November 10 Posted November 10 (edited) I recently found these two "teeth" at a beach. Im hoping to get some clarity on them. I believe one is a Mako but I'm unsure, and the other i have no idea, but it is most certainly a tooth! I absolutely love old artifacts and fossils especially. Please forgive me as I am still learning as I go. Edited November 10 by Seven9 1
val horn Posted November 10 Posted November 10 They are pretty and they look like fragments of shark teeth but it may not be possible to identify the fragments as so much that defines the species is missing 1 2

Seven9 Posted November 10 Author Posted November 10 For sure teeth. Im just questioning if they belong to sharks or not. My imagination and ideas might be getting the best of me. It's unfortunate I may never find out. Thanks for the response.
Fossildude19 Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Likely shark teeth. But as stated, too poorly preserved to ID to genus or species. 1 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks."
