val horn Posted November 10 Posted November 10 There must be thirty pictures here none of which are numbered. Most are without fossils. One had a crinoid columnar with a star shaped center. If you will number your items you will get more specific answers.
Coco Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Missouri is a state "a little too large" to be able to determine a precise stratigraphy for these objects, and thus clarify our answers. When requesting identification of items, information is required such as the origin of the order of the county and the nearest town, but also the size of each item in cm or inches only, because any other comparison object will never give a precise size. And remember, we’re on an international forum. You have done two different posts, which is absolutely not useful, and even very unrecommended. Moth.11 Posted November 10 Posted November 10 Some brachiopods or bivalves in other photos and just rocks.
ClearLake Posted November 10 Posted November 10 1-4 are rocks with no apparent fossils in them 5 as already stated had a crinoid stem piece and some partial brachiopod shells 6 and 7 don't appear to have any fossils either 8 has numerous brachiopod shells (especially the nice half moon shaped strophomenid type) 9 is a rock with a nice inclusion, but does not appear to be a fossil
Fossildude19 Posted November 10 Posted November 10 The inclusions in the last few photos look like chert nodules.
