Can anyone assist in identification? I believe it is a shark tooth but is very thin. Found on the southeast coast if texas. Any assistance is greatly appreciated!!

These types of fossils are out of my league, but it does remind me somewhat of a soft shelled turtle. Photo is from Fossil Lady's web site.
