I found it atop a small hill near a a dry creek bed near the foothills of the Florida Mountains in Deming NM. Hoping it is what it looks like.

I agree with @Fossildude19

There is no symmetry that one would expect to see on a turtle shell

google fossil turtle to see what they look like.  As mentioned above, not symmetry is a big clue.

Looks like a concretion that is weathering and cracking similar to a septarian concretion.
