New Members Trickman Posted November 13 New Members Posted November 13 I found these today in Lassen County, in northeast California. There was what looked to be a portion of a femur (three photos) and a phalange (3 photos), located together along w other fragments. Any thoughts on what mammal these might belong to? Thanks!
C2fossils Posted November 14 Posted November 14 looks like cow metacarpal and toe bones to me. Here is a good recourse for bison vs. cow bones https://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/item/111680#page/220/mode/1up “I think leg bones are a little humerus 🦴” -Cal : Fossil Mammal Bone/Tooth Amateur
