I’m not sure of the original location of this bivalve, it was in a pile of shelly limestone that was dumped for erosion control at a public boat ramp on the Neches River.

Can anyone give me a species, age or any other interesting facts?

I think it is a Venericardia sp. which is known to be found in the Woodbine fm, TX.
