Found this plant fossil in the hermit shale area of the Grand Canyon in Arizona, USA. I am unfamiliar with fossils and want to learn more about what this could be. It was about a 2 mile hike down into the canyon where I found this piece. Thank you.

I think there may not be enough there to accurately ID this plant beyond Supaia sp.

In the wonderful paper, so kindly provided by Ben, check pages 150-167.

Great find. Went down around there a couple winters ago and tried my hand at searching the Hermit Shale but couldn't find anything that cool. Good for you!
