minnbuckeye Posted November 25, 2024 Posted November 25, 2024 The ground is due to freeze solid this week, putting my local fossil hunts on hold until next year. So I took the opportunity to split some rock on Sunday knowing of this weather forecast. I would appreciate your thoughts on these trilobite bits found that day. I hunted in the Galena Formation which is Ordovician. Anataphrus? Another Anataphrus? Some type of Ceraurus? Flexi? Eye of Isotelus? Bumastoides? I will see how my guesses compare to your educated identifications! Usually I bat around 50%.
