Stan Simpson Posted November 28, 2024 Posted November 28, 2024 It’s been some time since I was on the site. I’m looking for help in identifying this specimen. I’ve acquired this petrified sample that I’ve been told could be fossilized poop. It came from the deserts in the southwest, possibly Arizona or Wyoming but I don’t know exactly. It measures about 7 inches by 8 inches across and is about 2 3/4 inches thick in the center. It has a weight of 5 lbs 12 oz.. it looks somewhat like a cow patty.
