Fossildude19 Posted December 7, 2024 Posted December 7, 2024 Wait for other opinions, but this does not look like bone, or a vetebra, to me. 5 Tim - VETERAN SHALE SPLITTER VFOTM --- APRIL - 2015 IPFOTM -- MAY - 2024 _________________________________________________________________________________ "In every walk with nature one receives far more than he seeks." rocknroll Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Looks like either a piece of petrified wood or very unorthodoxed tail bone. I would bet on petrified wood. How heavy is it? The way the matter is layered and goes off in different directions and doesn't have any uniformity of the pores that bone has tells a story. Just my opinion.
hadrosauridae Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 I dont see any sign of this being a vertebra or even bone. Professional fossil preparation services at Red Dirt Fossils, LLC.
