-Andy- Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 2023 Gathering Hi, everyone! Here we are again - the Singapore Fossils Collector had another annual meet-up! It has been a year since I moved to my new house, and I've managed to get a few more displays up and running. We had a few new faces this year! Hopefully, they will be the new generation of SG fossil collectors! Please enjoy the pictures All in all, everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and form new friendships, so all in all, I'd say it's a success! If any of you are visiting Singapore, don't hesitate to ring me up! 9 Looking forward to meeting my fellow Singaporean collectors! Do PM me if you are a Singaporean, or an overseas fossil-collector coming here for a holiday!
FB003 Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 (edited) Nice collections! I really like how the shelving was done. Everything seems to fit in there just right. Did you have to custom make that? Edited December 8, 2024 by FB003 *Frank*

jpc Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 wow... look at how young the club members are. The fossil clubs I know if are full of oldies like myself. Great display as well. Fourth photo down... the lobster next to the Tumidocarcinus... where is that from?
Nimravis Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 @-Andy- How large is that Giant Cricket? It looks huge. Thanks

pachy-pleuro-whatnot-odon Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 That's an impressive collection, Andy! Great to finally see how this all turned out! And looks like you all had a wonderful time looking at and discussing your fossils 😄 Thanks for sharing! Kohler Palaeontology Posted December 9, 2024 Posted December 9, 2024 Very impressing display and collection! "The past always seems better when you look back on it than it did at the time." - Peter Benchley (author of the novel "Jaws" that inspired the 1975 hit film)

Did you have to custom make that? The entire cabinet is custom made to fit around the Mosasaurus skull. As for the rest of the shelves, I took 1-3 days to plan what kind of fossils I'd like to put inside, and how I'd fit them to the available space in the cabinet 20 hours ago, jpc said: wow... look at how young the club members are.
