I hear there has been a bit chat about some guy that found a never before described large starfish in Coppell TX. That guy is me, My name is Steve Adams and the starfish I found is quite remarkable. We named it Comptoniaster Adamsi and I would love to share all there is to know about it. It has taken 14 yeas of reaserch and a trip through Europe. I think sharing this starfish is long over due.

Welcome to the forum from the DFW area as well.

Congratulations on your find! Post some pics of it so we can see.

Edit: I just read the link in the previous post. Congratulations again. I'd still like to see some pics of the replica you have. Also, do you have any links to the technical papers regarding your find? I'm sure some of us would love to read them. Also, do you know where your find will eventually end up?

There are a lot of very informative contacts here that can help if you need any info.

I will post some of my weekends finds later this afternoon.

BTW: I posted it as Coppellaster/Comptonaster Adamsi.

Is it Compton or Comptoni?
