Hello From Roetgen, Eifelmountains In Germany

Benedikt

Recommended Posts

My name is Benedikt Magrean and I am collecting trilobites for many years, now focussing on the devonian ones, because I noticed, that a mans life does not last as long as he needs to get a specimen of each trilobite.

I live in near the famous devonian regions Gerolstein/Eifel and Couvin/Ardennes/Belgium.

Mostly I prefer staying in nature and collect.

I am looking for other collectors of trilobites

Best regards from the now snowy Eifelmountains

Ben

Hi! Welcome to the best forum on the net!

I've got a couple Trilo fossils but they are bought.

Hi Palaeoworld-101,

thank you for your fast reply. Are you no more looking for trilobites in Australia? There are also devonian deposits there, I read in the literature.

"now focussing on the devonian ones"

Theres some PDF files to download of Devonian Trilobites if you wish, just go to the fossil media / Documents section of the fossilforum and browse through my files.

Welcome from Missouri, USA.

I hear you about life not being long enough to collect everything. I've limited myself to the Pennsylvanian area around my city. That saves on travel costs. Also, the meager supply of trilobites keeps me from going overboard. :)
