DE&i
When I take my son shopping into a shopping centre known as Queensgate in Peterborough there’s always a completion to be played. Who can count the most ammonites, does anyone else have these in the shopping centres / shopping mall where they live. Polished Jurassic limestones from Germany and Italy. These form the floor of the Queensgate Shopping Centre, and also contain wonderful- belemnites, and sponges. Darren. ted coulianos
the Franklin Park Mall in (of all places) Toledo,Ohio is also paved with the same limestone; I usually bump into people because I'm too busy staring at the floor looking for belemnite cross-sections! Herb
They probably wouldn't miss a couple slabs if they vanished late at night Just kidding of course "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence"_ Carl Sagen No trees were killed in this posting......however, many innocent electrons were diverted from where they originally intended to go. crinoid1
It is amazing what can be found in cut stone. There was actually a complete fossil whale found in an Egyptian limestone block after it was cut for a countertop. It was thin sectioned! http://news.nationalgeographic.com/news/2009/05/090504-egypt-fossils-video-wc.html -Gabe I like crinoids......
