Some Sort Of "cow Skull"?

My wife, daughter, and I were hiking through some wilderness in Denton Co., Texas. There was a lot of interesting wildlife and nature. We observed (and filmed) a big snake blow up on a sandbass and ultimately kill it. A few minutes later my daughter caught sight of this skull eroding on the other side of the creek under about 10' of sediment.

First guess was maybe a bison skull. Curious of what everyone thought. We weren't quite aggressive enough to swim across the creek to check it out more closely, but we could revisit it perhaps.

Looks like a Bison skull to me!
