Kimberly A.
I keep finding these in Tampa Fl! Guess I'm like bird...ohh, shiny, nice, old...Bring it home! Just not quite sure what I'm bringing home. Glad to be a forum newbie, although not sure if shell fossils are even interesting to all the advanced fossil members out there. Please feel free to speak your mind. Edited July 29, 2013 by Kimberly A.
Foshunter
They are fossils, maybe someone from the area can give you more info. If you are interested in fossils, the Tampa Bay Fossil Club is right where you live, check into joining. They go in fossil hunts to the Vulcan Mine and Peace River. This is a very good club to belong to and willing to share their knowledge. Information about them can be found on the net----Good luck----Tom 1 Grow Old Kicking And Screaming !!"Don't Tread On Me"
Herb
they look maybe Pliocene/Pleistocene to me, The U. of Florida has a nice site to help ID Florida fossils. 1 "Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence"_ Carl Sagen No trees were killed in this posting......however, many innocent electrons were diverted from where they originally intended to go.
