Turtle Egg Fossil ?

Please help in identifying this fossil. It weighs approx. 4 ozs. Measures approx 1 3/4" across. Fairly round in shape. 9V battery is the the picture for size comparison. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Sorry, I do not believe it is a fossil, looks like a sandstone concretion to me.

Welcome to the forum. Where did you collect this piece?

I don't think this is a fossil. It looks like a concretion to me.

It appears to be a concretion; sandstone-come-quartzite.
