Calvert Cliffs Brownies Weekend.

Very decent weekend at Brownies, it was a tough high tide day at the cliffs, yet with the help of members of the forum, Harris and The hunter, turned a decent escapade, although I found a beautiful Meg really the best was meeting the mentioned members of the forum, so rather than highlight my tooth I want to mention a side story, it goes like this: soon after I found my Meg, perhaps with my excitement I dropped my main tooth container, after showing my tooth to The hunter I continued with my plan of walking back and forth the beach, soon after picking a small tooth I realized my container was missing, I return and mention to Jim (TH), Harris and another fellow tooth collector about my container, I look around and nothing, I give up and pull a second container, at noon I come out to have lunch and return and hour laterto continue my trek at the beach, when I see Jim he waves and happily gives me my container, it had washed away close to where we were, I say thanks you are an honest man, he says "there is no other way", after some more chat I continue walking and see the other guy, I tell him about Jim giving back my small stuff, he says wow, we need more people like him...I said yes we do... I didn't find much the rest of the day, others than later finding out Harris had gone to scientists cliff and having a better day than me, teeth wise that is. Below is a shot of the best for this week. Regards. MK

Mario, thanks for the nice compliments. It was nice to meet you in person. Very good pic of the meg, but it looked better when I was holding it!

Awesome chub tooth. You can meet some really great people at Brownies. It seems to me the fossil hunting community has the general population beat quite handily for it's good guy/gal ratio to jerk ratio.

Dear Jim, really it was memorable trip to Brownies, seeing Harry interacting with kids at the parking lot was a breath of fresh air, he was wowing them with his bigger finds, really for many reasons it was a humble experience, Mark I'm glad you weren't there, you would it picked that beauty before me you are a great hunter. Mark yeah I thought it was a chubs but still I'm learning about the business of finding teeth and deciding what they are. Cheers. MK

Great finds and story. I too have met some great folks on here and enjoyed the hunt with them. :)

Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!

That chubutensis and the Hemi to the left of it are both trip makers. Congrats on the great finds!!!
