Fossil Or Rock?

Found this in Dickson County Tennessee. Unfortunately can't provide more information other than it was found in my garden formation while excavating clay and rock to improve the soil there.

Looks like a concretion. I can't seem to get a close up of the image, it is blurry and elongated (probably my connection). If a concretion, could be something inside that inner round piece. Welcome to the Forum!

Agreed. Concretion, with maybe an inclusion. With the way it broke it is very possible that it could have a secret to share.

Concretion and I agree it could have a hidden gift time to give it an acid bath and keep a close eye on the residue.
