Petrified Wood?

Found near Star Valley, Arizona. Lots of sea fossils there, so I'm not sure what this is. If not wood, then coral???

My first thought was rock, but when I blew the picture up, it does have characteristics of petrified wood. Could you get a better picture of the end of one of the slices?

I'm not sure...there are some things that remind me of petrified wood, but none of the details. I don't think it's coral in any case.

What size are they?

They seem most consistent with in-filled burrows.
