Maybe a part of an in-filled burrow?

That is what it looks like to me as well. There are some giant chunks of in-filled burrows in the Duck Creek outcrops in far north Texas and southern Oklahoma. I smiled when I saw this image as I remembered my father decades ago calling these things "fossilized seaweed". Thanks for showing it and bringing back that memory.
