Fossilized Egg?

So I was canyoneering in red rock canyon in nevada yesterday in a place named mudslide canyon. We stopped for a break and i found this rock, I am no expert in the subject but it seems like a fossilized egg, i know its probably a long shot but im hoping for the best. The outside of this rock is a different layer than the inside, which seems like its made out of sandstone. The way is cracked is very peculiar too and thats the main reason i brought it home with me. Im hoping someone could help me and tell me if i found something or its just another rock. Thank you in advance :)

**EDIT i was able to upload a picture, thanks for replying even before i had a picture up

Is the outer shell hard and some shade of red? Because that would make me think concretion, especially since the inside is like sandstone. But a picture is the best way to know for sure

edit: Sorry, I had posted this on my phone and just realised that concretion was autocorrected to something else...whoops

Looks like the outer rind of a concretion, to me, from the current pictures.

Sorry, I don't think it is an egg.
