Hi, I have been having a great time looking at rocks! I always wanted to be a geologist or an Anthropoligist as a kid, but "lost my way"... I have always picked up rocks, and am having fun trying to ID, but mostly I find Corals... I hope y'all don't mind if I post frequently, rock hunting is getting me out of the house :-)... I'm working from the assumption that anything I find is cool (but if it is a fossil - even more cool). My searches have brought the kids into some fun conversations. My daughter handed me a coral fossil, I asked her how old she thought it was... She said 50 years, I said more like hundreds of thousands, let's google it & see...

Thanks & I look forward to talking with y'all
