Found July 28, Lake ontario shoreline, Jordan Station, Ontario

Not sure what it is.

Looks like what we would call a "hash plate" - (all kinds of different marine organisms) in cross section on a cobble.

The line is likely a crinoid stem fragment.

The other lines may be cross sectioned brachiopods or pelecypods.

I went to Lake Ontario last week, here in NY (hello, "neighbor"!) and found dozens of crinoid cobbles like this, but most are circular O shapes. This one is cool because it's "horizontal" and wiggly. The shell cross-sections are common too and come in a variety of interesting shapes and sizes. With the water/glacial erosion, these are good-looking.
