Hello all, I am new to the forum. I've been collecting fossils for only a year now but my collection is coming along well. Here are some pics. I look forward to learning a lot from this forum. --Gregg

Welcome! There's a good bunch of Upstaters here and even more who come to visit our rich collecting grounds :)

Do you collect much locally? I've just started researching places around Keuka Lake...

Hi Brewcuse, I haven't collected much locally but I am starting to look for good sites. Any suggestions? I live in the Finger Lakes region, so Keuka Lake would be a great location to check out. Any specific advice or locations you would suggest?

Hello from East Tennessee!! Love the Penn Dixie fossils. I went for the first time last year and can't wait to go back.

Welcome to the Forum from the Hudson Valley, NY. I've collected some nice material at Fall Brook in the Geneseo area; brachiopods, horn corals, bivalves, gastropods, and trilobite parts. Your Penn Dixie finds look pretty impressive. Good luck and keep posting.
