Just got back from my weekend trip with the NY Paleontological Society. On Saturday we visited two sites: Greer Rd. Quarry and Deep Spring Road. They are from the Mid Devonian Hamilton Group. On Sunday we visited the The Sheds Site--Windom Shale. Here are some of my finds.

I've gone to these sites a couple times this summer, looks like fun was had by all. Thanks for sharing.

Nice finds. Which site produced the Gonaitite?

Im'a have to spend more time there. I didn't find all too much that excited me on my first visit. Apparently I wasn't looking hard enough!

Congratulations on some great finds. A fine sample of the types of trilobites, bivalves, and gastropods that can be found at those sites. I'm especially impressed with the goniatite. The ones I've found are usually quite a bit smaller. And corals are definitely uncommon. Where did you score the Pleurodictyum? I've only found one so far and that was at Geer Road.

Thanks Jeffrey! Yes, I found the Pleurodictyum at Greer Rd.
