EasternShore88 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 With the beautiful weather we had late last week, I decided what better way to spend it then to take a walk at the Cliffs. It was not a surprise to find a number of fair weather fossilers walking the beach before I got there, but that didn't keep me from pushing on. Not only was the weather perfect, the fossil hunting wasn't half bad either. Alongside the usual small and broken teeth I found two Meg's although both very worn as well as two killer Mako's! All found while walking behind several other collectors. This goes to show, you shouldn't get discouraged when you find you are not the first on the beach as there are always fossils left behind! Andrew
SoreBack Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 I would have kept the makos and thrown the two megs backs because they aren't 100% perfect. Just kidding, nice job!
jcbshark Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 Those Makos are beautiful! Congrats!! Every once in a great while it's not just a big rock down there!
Doctor Mud Posted December 31, 2014 Posted December 31, 2014 (edited) Nice finds there. Those are some pretty awesome Makos. Edited December 31, 2014 by Doctor Mud

EasternShore88 Posted December 31, 2014 Author Posted December 31, 2014 Thanks everyone. I was very lucky to find what I did. With the amount of collectors walking the beaches it seems trips like this are becoming a thing of the past. I can't wait to get out there again myself! Andrew
