Nj Cretaceous- Mos. Or Croc?

I think this is a croc. tooth but i'm sure. What do you think it is?

I would agree croc, dont see any raised cutting edges which would indicate mosasaur or enchodus which is also common in NJ.

You are correct, there is no defined cutting edge on it-that's why I originally thought croc. Never found a Cretaceous croc. tooth there and Mos. teeth are a lot more common there (at least from my experience) so that's why I wanted to ask. That's great- I can finally check croc. tooth off my wishlist!

a pic of the base would help,

(edit) sorry, looked at the pics and see that the tooth is broken above the basal cavity
