Topaz Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 This was found in the 70's on Navajo land in Arizona/New Mexico near the Petrified Forrest. I'm guessing it's either cycad or ginkgo (according to wiki). Can you help me?

Most wood from the area, the Chinle Formation, is Araucarioxylon arizonicum which according to Wikipedia may actually be several different species. 1 My goal is to leave no stone or fossil unturned.
